About
create a community where inclusive means all ages and all support needs
The Violet Hour is the time of day when the sky turns into blues and purples marking transition from day to evening. It is a fleeting time of beauty seen in transition. In some cultures, it is seen as sacred and time for reflection and creativity. As high needs autistic children get older their services, opportunities, and resources change or become not appropriate. So with reflection and a whole lot of creativity we are looking to change that with my daughter, Violet, as our inspiration.
Our Mission
We create and support opportunities for teen and young adult autistics, with significant support needs, to thrive in their communities. No matter someone’s support needs they deserve experiences and opportunities that make them feel alive.
The Vision
To create a community where inclusive means all ages and all support needs.
Every autistic person deserves a full, joyful life
Safe spaces, shared experiences, and peer connection aren’t “extras.” They’re foundational.
Autistic individuals are four times more likely to experience depression than their peers, with similarly alarming rates of addiction and suicide. One of the strongest protective factors? COMMUNITY
